Jesus Teaches His Disciples
Interwoven Gospels

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "It is impossible but that snares should come, but woe to him through whom they come. It were well for him, if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should be a snare to one of these little ones. Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if seven times in the day he sin against thee, and seven times return to thee, saying, 'I repent,' thou shalt forgive him."

And the apostles said to the Lord, "Give us more faith." Then the Lord said, "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye could say to this sycamine tree, 'Be thou rooted up, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.

"But which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he is come in from the field, 'Come at once and recline at table?' Yea, will he not rather say to him, 'Make ready that on which I may dine, and gird thyself and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward thou shalt eat and drink." Doth he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded? So also ye, when ye have done all the things commanded you, say, 'We are unprofitable servants; we have done what was our duty to do."
